1. Brief Introduction
Model DVS-2018CS+ is an IRD up to DVB-S/S2 MPEG-2 HD specifications. It is capable of receiving DVB-S/S2 MPEG-2 HD programs, and generating HD/SD transparent ASI streams for headend use. Various A/V out ports on rear panel help operator monitor the status of audio and video.
The CI slot is compatible with standard CAM modules, making the IRD support various CAS.
The dual ASI output ports could be configured to contain decrypted programs only, or both decrypted and undecrypted. Undecrypted streams could be forwarded to another IRD through ASI port to get decoded.
Ethernet port RJ45 is equipped on this IRD to support remote control. The software is distributed with the IRD.
