Distribution Amplifier GFT-8-S1A Series

Brief Introduction

GFT-8-S1A Series amplifiers are designed for 862MHz CATV RF distribution. Forward path signal amplification is carried out in two stages: The first by a MMIC amplifier IC, and the second by a GaAs amplifier module. Signal is divided into two by a plug-in tap or splitter.
The rated gain is 29dB if choose a plug-in splitter to provide equal outputs. The rated gain for the main output is 33dB if choose plug-in tap to provide unequal outputs.
Amplifier can be made with or without return path. Unidirectional amplifiers can be upgraded to have return path in the field by adding return-path amplifier module and necessary accessories.
RF signal slope is regulated by plug-in fixed value equalizer, and RF level can be tuned by plug-in fixed value attenuator. Equalizer and attenuator are of the same small plug-in unit.
GFT-8-S1A Series adopt Switch Mode Power Supply. Both AC 60V and AC 220V are available.
